Overview
Improving your child’s mobility and stability is an excellent way for parents to enhance their child’s performance in sports and keep them injury free. This demo showcases how TennisGate can assist you in achieving this.
Step 1
Select the Appropriate category in the main menu
If your goal is to improve fitness and athleticism, start your search under “Kids Athletics” You will find all our exercises and athletic tests for children there. For our example, we will assume the players has ankle problems so we wil choose “Kids Athletics” and filter by “Kids Mobility”.
Step 2
Search for videos to test mobility
To begin your session, start by filtering exercises based on your chosen focus and the joint area you want to target. For this example session, we’ll set the focus to “Checking Mobility” to identify potential weaknesses, and select “Ankle and Feet” as the joint area.
Our selected video is: “Mobility Test: Ankle Joint.”
Step 3
Choose exercises to improve the mobility
Now that we tested and discovered deficiencies, we need to find exercises to improve the ankle mobility. First, uncheck the “Checking Mobility” filter under the focus category. Next, select the “Improving Mobility” filter while keeping “Ankle and Feet” selected in the joint area.
Now, browse through the available videos. For this example, we’ll choose “Outer edge run crossover.”
Step 4
Save your video in a collection
Our collection tool is an excellent resource for creating and organizing your training tips in one place. Let’s start by creating a collection for your child’s mobility videos.
To begin, click “Add to Collection” in the sidebar and give your collection a suitable name, such as “Mobility Session.” You can also add a brief description, like “Ankle and Feet,” to specify the focus. Any additional videos you select can easily be added to this collection for a well-organized session plan.
Step 5
Choose more videos
Now let’s find more videos.
Go back to “Kids Athletics” out of the top menu and combine once more the following filters:
- Kids Mobility & Stability” (Topic)
- Improving Mobility (Focus)
