Tennis learning goes digital
The CD-ROMS “Coach Vol. 1” and “Kids on Court” mark the first digital TennisGate learning media for coaches.
TennisGate is one of the early pioneers of blended learning in tennis. For more than 20 years, we have been combining video, analysis, coaching expertise, and on-court learning—from the first digital coaching media to an international learning and training platform.

With the TEC CoachesClub, an internet-based learning platform launches—one of the early digital communities for tennis coaches. TEC stands for Tennis Education Center.

With the acquisition of the TennisGate domain, the development of an independent, internationally scalable brand for digital tennis education begins.
Development begins on a protected international platform for coaches, expanding the TennisGate approach beyond the German-speaking market.
For the Badischer Tennisverband, TennisGate develops one of the first electronic curricula in German tennis.
With Visual Game Analysis, TennisGate develops its own concept for visualizing technical and tactical relationships and works as the official analyst at the Madrid Open.
The Deutscher Tennis Bund commissions TennisGate to develop an electronic curriculum and a digital infrastructure for coach education.
The collaboration with the Professional Tennis Registry begins. TennisGate develops a digital content hub for around 15,000 PTR members.
With the DTB Online Campus, coach education for around 15,000 coaches is comprehensively digitized.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, TennisGate launches its first official online training courses, bringing recognised coach education into a fully digital format.
The partnership with the Baden Tennis Association is expanded. The TennisGate Academy creates a long-term offering of digital and hybrid coach education.
With the first TennisGate app, video coaching, training knowledge and learning content become accessible on the go.
The TennisGate platforms are further developed both technologically and in content. At the same time, TennisGate GmbH is established as the foundation for the next phase of development.
Together with the Baden Tennis Association, TennisGate provides the first open national DOSB online course for license renewal within its own digital learning environment.
The existing app continues as a modern web app. New filter, search and playlist features connect learning even more closely with practical session planning.
TennisGate brings together more than 2,000 videos, analyses, drills, methodological content and planning tools in a structured coaching system for coaches and players.
