Serve practice: Fast first flat serves
Only first serves from both sides are trained. You try to play the ball with maximum speed. The target areas are laid out for the serve through the middle (on the T) and on the body. To check the speed of the serve, the second bounce of the ball on the fence or on the hall wall could serve as feedback.ย
A total of 4 series with 10 serves each are to be performed. After each series there will be a short break. This way the players get a relatively high amount of training. Of course, this can also be done in groups of 2. Then, for example, a player can do some useful mobility exercises (joint hygiene) for his shoulder or elbow during the break.
