The exercise “Pupils follow” is very efficient for perception, orientation, eye movement and speed of action.

Stand comfortably upright and keep your head still.
Keep your hands straight in front of you, close both hands and stretch your thumbs up. Now you start to “wave” with your right thumb. Waving like this you move your right arm outwards. Your pupils follow the thumb. The head remains straight.
Go backwards until the thumb disappears from your field of vision. Then you move the arm back again and do the same with your left.
