Our young players initially make three forefoot contacts on one side and progress towards the net with three additional contacts along the line.

After allowing time for the athletes to settle, we introduce a cognitive challenge to the movement task. They must perform the task while also completing a mental calculation. Specifically, they must add a sequence of numbers in increments of 6, such as 6, 12, 18, 24, and so on. To prevent the athletes from simply repeating the numbers of the person in front, the second person in line starts with a different number, such as 18.
